Journal Entry No. 2

In my first day in MCL, I were very nervous. I don't know where to go cause I am not familiar with the place. I am excited cause its a new beginning has began again in my life. I am also happy cause i I met new friends.

I like my professors because they are nice to us and they are friendly. They do their best to teach us. I like my professors cause they are not so strict not like in high school.

My blockmates is very nice. They are always happy in the class. I like my classmates cause they are very friendly to me and they are nice to me.

I find my course exciting because the courses are not so easy. They are a bit difficult to me. Social Science is a bit easy for me and I.T.. Math is a little bit difficult for me cause it have many solutions.

I have to adjust my study habits because not like in high school I am not reviewing my notes, here, I have to study hard so that I will not fail my course and I can fulfill my dreams. No one can help me in my studies but my self.

Importance of Values Education

Values Education is the process by which values are formed in the learner under the guidance of the teacher and as he interacts with this environment.

Values shapes our relationships, our behaviors, our choices, and our sense of who we are. The more positive our values, the most positive our actions. This is one of the reasons why values education is being taught or included in both elementary and secondary levels because it plays a great role for students' becoming successful in their own choice of careers. Values is the foundation of a morally upright person.

College Life and High School Life

When i first entered the college life, I thought it would be just like high school, but I was wrong. It was totally different. Here , I need to be responsible to survive. I need to prioritize my studies.

College life compared to high school life was so different. You need not to be carefree here. There are a lot of adjustments to make. In high school, you have a lot of friends already, here, i have no friends at all. But I have friends now. Here in college, you need to manage your time not like in high school. In high school, students experience spoonfeeding but in college they are responsible to make their own decisions and be liable to the consequences that their decision may bring.College is more of like being independent and you are being challenge everyday. Professors will make you think on your feet. As for high school, we can just fly through and if you feel like going to class you would attend or not. High school is more open and its free. In high school, you have a set scheduled of what classes you should take and the time frame.

That's how I compare college life to high school life.
